Volkswagen ID.5 Overview
The Volkswagen ID.5 is an all-electric coupé crossover SUV that was introduced in 2021. It is based on the Volkswagen MEB platform, which also underpins the Volkswagen ID.4.
The ID.5 is powered by the same 77-kWh battery pack as the ID.4, but it has a slightly lower range of up to 249 miles (400 km) on a single charge. It is available with a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive powertrain. The ID.5 is available in two trim levels: Pro and Pro S. The Pro trim comes standard with features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a panoramic sunroof. The Pro S trim adds features like a leather interior, a heated steering wheel, and a head-up display.
