Long a best-seller in this segment, the Lexus RX was known for its comfort, reliability, and value retention. The RX 450h offered a hybrid variant. An important player in Mercedes’ lineup, the GLE combined cutting-edge tech with a range of powerful engines. The model saw a redesign in 2019, and its benefits were still being realized in 2021.
Offering both performance and luxury, the BMW X5 was a favorite for many. A plug-in hybrid variant, the xDrive45e, expanded its appeal.
