U.S Best Selling Cars, Trucks & SUVs Since 2006
The best-selling vehicles in the United States have changed significantly in the last decade. In 2013, the top five best-selling vehicles were all sedans: the Toyota Camry, the Honda Accord, the Nissan Altima, the Ford F-Series pickup truck, and the Chevrolet Cruze. By 2022, the top five best-selling vehicles were all SUVs or crossover SUVs: the Ford F-Series pickup truck, the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, the Ram 1500 pickup truck, the Toyota RAV4 SUV, and the Honda CR-V SUV. In addition to the shift from sedans to SUVs, there have been a few other notable changes in the best-selling vehicles in the United States in the last decade. For example, the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, which were once the two best-selling vehicles in the country, have both seen their sales decline in recent years. The Tesla Model 3, which was first introduced in 2017, has quickly become one of the best-selling vehicles in the United States. It is the first electric vehicle to crack the top 10 best-selling vehicles list, and it is expected to continue to gain popularity in the coming years.
