Sol E20X
The E20X is the first model of the Sehol brand, a joint venture of Volkswagen and JAC which makes EVs for the domestic Chinese market. The E20X is based on an existing electric car from JAC but with a Seat-like front-end styling. Power comes from a 92 kW electric motor which takes its energy from a 49.5 kWh battery pack, giving it a range of up to 402 kilometres according to the Chinese standard. The City SUV should be able to charge to 80 per cent of its capacity in 50 minutes with charging connections located at the front of the SUV. Dimensions are 4.135/1.750/1.560mm with a wheelbase of 2.490mm, exactly the same as the JAC IEV7S on which the E20X is based. Prices start at 128,000 yuan (US$ 18,200 / € 16.500,-) after subsidies.
