Skyworth (in Mandarin 创维 or Chuangwei) is a new brand for EVs by Skywell Automobiles. Largest shareholder is electronics giant Skyworth Group from Shenzhen. Skyworth group was established in 1988 and is a major player in manufacturing television and set-top boxes. One of their subsidiaries is a manufacturer of in-car Av technology since 1996. The cars are produced by another shareholder Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus, a large bus maker established in 2000. Skyworth launched in August 2021 with the EV6 SUV.

kyworth is a relatively new brand in the Chinese car market. It was launched in 2021 by Skywell Automobiles, a Chinese manufacturer of electric passenger vehicles. Skyworth is a joint venture between Skywell and Skyworth Group, one of China’s leading consumer electronics companies. Skyworth is still a relatively small player in the Chinese car market, but the company is growing rapidly.
Skyworth’s first vehicle was the EV6, a midsize electric SUV. The EV6 is equipped with a 72 kWh battery pack that provides a range of up to 520 kilometers (323 miles) on a single charge. The EV6 also features a number of advanced technologies, including a Level 2 semi-autonomous driving system and a 12.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Skyworth has since launched a number of other electric vehicles, including the ET5 SUV, the HT-i SUV, and the ET7 sedan. The company’s vehicles are known for their stylish designs, spacious interiors, and advanced technologies.
