Seat Ateca Overview
The SEAT Ateca is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) manufactured by the Spanish automaker SEAT since 2016. It is based on the Volkswagen Tiguan platform and is the first SUV offered by SEAT. It slots in between the Arona subcompact crossover SUV and Tarraco seven-seater SUV. The Ateca is available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engines are a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine with 115 PS (85 kW; 113 hp) or a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 150 PS (110 kW; 150 hp). The diesel engine is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 150 PS (110 kW; 150 hp) or 190 PS (140 kW; 190 hp). The Ateca has a top speed of 130 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.8 seconds. It is available with a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
