In March 2014, for the second consecutive month, Maserati brand sales figures were viewed on GoodCarBadCar more than the sales figures for any other make or model.
GCBC uses this post to showcase the most popular specific vehicles – not brands – during the previous month, but it’s worth noting that those Maserati sales figures were viewed 18% more often than the most popular car’s sales figures. That car, the Honda Accord, is routinely candidate for top spot on this list.
Other leading brands over the last month, in terms of traffic on their brand sales page at GoodCarBadCar, included Acura, Volvo, Cadillac, Lexus, Audi, Jeep, Bentley, Ford, and Buick.
Both Fiats managed to once again position themselves in the top ten along with two other vehicles sold in Chrysler showrooms, the Ram P/U and Jeep Cherokee. We anxiously await the day Maserati – which also happens to be owned by Fiat – chooses to begin releasing sales figures for their individual model lines, the Quattroporte, Ghibli, and GranTurismo/GranCabrio.
In this post you’ll also find the most commonly read February 2014-related sales articles at GCBC over the last month and the most frequently viewed GCBC Driven reviews, as well.
Automobile manufacturers will begin reporting their March 2014 sales figures on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. GoodCarBadCar will be updated throughout the day with brand results from both the United States and Canada. Later on Tuesday, U.S. March best seller lists for cars and trucks and SUVs will be published, as well.
As always, sales figures for all manufacturers, makes, and models will be updated in GCBC’s free searchable database of historical monthly and yearly sales data. For non-mobile users (or mobile users who have opted to view the full site by selecting that option at the bottom of the page), you can also select a vehicle, a brand, a manufacturer, or total industry figures in a dropdown menu near the top right of this page. The in-depth breakdown of March 2014 new vehicle sales begins in earnest straightaway at the beginning of April.
