Lynk & Co 01
The Lynk & Co 01 SUV is the first model of the newly founded Lynk & Co brand, owned by Geely Holding which also owns Volvo. It is based on the new Volvo-Geely CMA platform, which also underpins the Volvo XC40, the Lynk & Co 02 crossover-coupe and the Lynk & Co 03 sedan. The 01 was initially powered by a Volvo 2-liter turbo engine with 190 hp and 300 Nm, mated to a six-speed automatic or a seven-speed DCT. A 1,5-liter turbo and a hybrid version of that engine followed in mid 2018. The lower end versions have front wheel drive, the high end version has 4WD. Prices range from 158.800 Yuan (€ 20.000,- / US$ 24,650) to 220.800 Yuan (€ 28.000,- / US$ 34,250).
Lynk & Co 01 Overview
The Lynk & Co 01 is a compact crossover SUV that was first introduced in 2017. It is the first model from Lynk & Co, a joint venture between Geely Auto and Volvo Cars. The 01 is available with two engine options: a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 177 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 254 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 01 is available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. It has a maximum cargo capacity of 541 liters, 1,320 liters with the rear seats folded. The 01 comes standard with a long list of features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker sound system, and a rearview camera. Available features include a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and a head-up display.
