“The park brake lever clutch drum may distort and reduce the effectiveness of the park brake system,” NHTSA says in regards to 3,663 Dodge Nitros and Jeep Libertys. Specifically, this Dodge/Jeep Recall affects ’07 and ’08 Nitros with manual transmissions and ’08 Libertys with manual transmissions.
Dealers will be replacing the whole park brake lever assembly after this Recall begins this month.
