Not hiding any enthusiasm for the regular Kia Soul, The Good Car Guy has come out as a preordained fan of the small Scion competitor in advance of a drive. Lotus is developing the suspension. We know it looks good. Quality is supposed to reach a new height for Kia. What more could we ask for?
Well, we didn’t ask for the Kia Soulster concept, but Kia gave it to us anyway. In the same vein as the Hummer H2 SUT, a vehicle hated by The Good Car Guy, the Kia Soulster is a trucklet. Not capable of carrying much with a probably loss of structural rigidity and the boxiness that makes the Soul so admirable, the Soulster is far from a sure bet for production. Let’s hope it stays that way.
