Foton Gratour ix
The Gratour ix5 and ix7 are basically the same car, but the ix7 (pictured above) has a more rugged look with black plastic wheen arches, compared to the more basic ix5 (pictured below). Both are available in 5, 6, 7 or even 8-seat configurations. They have the same wheelbase and the same engine.
The cars are powered by a 115hp/150Nm 1,5-liter engine coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. Dimensions are 4.505/1.725/1.780mm for the ix5 and 4.515/1.750/1.820 for the ix7, which appears to be caused by higher ground clearance and bigger bumpers to give it a rugged SUV-like look. Both have the same wheelbase of 2.760mm. Prices for the ix5 start at 48.900 yuan (€6.700,- / US$ 7,100) and run up to 58.900 yuan, which is where the ix7 continues at 59.900 yuan up to 89.900 yuan (€12.300,- / US$ 13,000).
