The market for Commercial Vans in Canada continues in rude health, as a 14% rise in sales of Full-Size Commercial Vans push total year-to-date negate the slightly slower downturn in sales of Small Commercial Vans. Small Commercial Vans are showing signs of picking up in the Canadian market, with strong monthly figures as we head into autumn.
The Ford Transit and Chevrolet Express both had strong months, with the Chevrolet up 43.9% year-on-year. Meanwhile the best-selling Transit’s YTD is a full 13.1% of the same point in 2016.
The Mercedes-Benz Metris showed strong growth in the Small Commercial Van sector, contributing to an overall increase of 18% YTD of sales of Mercedes-Benz Vans.
