2022 Best Selling Minivans In China (All Models Ranked)

The minivan market is still a relatively small segment in China, accounting for only about 1.2% of all new vehicle sales in 2022.  According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), total minivan sales in China in 2022 were 323,700 units, down 28% from 2021. This was the third consecutive year of decline in Chinese minivan sales. The decline in sales was due to a number of factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the global semiconductor shortage, and the shift towards SUVs. Despite the decline in overall sales, there were a number of minivan models that sold well in China in 2022.

Some of the best-selling minivan models in China in 2022 were the Wuling Hongguang S, Buick GL8, Roewe iMAX8, GAC Trumpchi GM8 and Toyota Sienna. Other popular minivan models in China in 2022 included the Volkswagen Viloran, the Honda Odyssey, and the Kia Carnival.
