The Chery Cowin 5 is an ‘old fashioned’ Chery; lotta car for little money. Chery won’t make much money on it either but at least development was cheap, the Cowin 5 is based on the Chery Eastar/Oriental Sun. Cowin is Chery’s sub-brand name for its cheapest cars. Size of the Cowin 5: 4770/1815/1445, wheelbase is 2700. This sort of vehicles is still very popular in China, not so much in the big cities but with the 700 million people living in the rest of the land. Taxi fleets like ‘m too.
