BYD Han Sales Data & Trends
The Han is perhaps one of the most important Chinese rivals to the Tesla Model 3, ahead of the Xpeng P7. This is BYD’s flagship sedan and the brand is planning to use this as its breakthrough vehicle for the European and US markets. The BYD Han is available in EV an PHEV version, with the EV version available with two battery options. Dimensions are 4,980/1,910/1,495mm with a wheelbase of 2,920mm. This makes it larger than the Model 3 and just as long as the Model S.
BYD Han BEV specs:
The FWD version has an output of 163kW, while the AWD version adds a 200kW motor on the rear wheels. The latter sprints from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. DC fast charging is available, charging the Han from 30 to 80% in 25 minutes.

These prices all undercut those of the Tesla Model 3, which is priced from 291.800 yuan to 419.800 yuan. The Xpeng P7 starts at a comparable 229.900 yuan but tops out higher at 349.000 yuan.
