The BMW X1
Here you will find monthly and yearly U.S, Canadian, European and Chinese sales figures for the BMW X1. Despite its SUV-like body shape, the X1 offers distinctly BMW-like driving fun, earning it a 2017 Â 10Best award by Car and Driver. The 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder makes 228 hp which is more than enough for this small and fun SUV. A really nice infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, adaptive cruise control and much more round out this solid performing SUV.
BMW X1 Overview
he BMW X1 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The first-generation X1 was based on the E90 3 Series and offered rear-wheel drive layout as standard. At its introduction in 2009, it was positioned as the smallest SUV in BMW line-up, below the X3 prior to the launch of the smaller X2. The X1 essentially is aiming a wider range of customers due to its smaller size, increased efficiency, and a lower price tag due to the all-wheel drive layout (xDrive) being optional.
The current third-generation X1 was introduced in 2022 and is available with a choice of two powertrains: a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four or a plug-in hybrid. All models come standard with all-wheel drive. The X1 is known for its agile handling, spacious interior, and advanced technology. Standard features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Available features include a head-up display, a night vision system, and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The 2023 BMW X1 starts at $39,400 in the United States. Prices vary depending on the powertrain and options selected.
