The BMW 7-Series
Here you will find U.S, Canadian and European sales figures for the BMW 7-Series. The once king of the luxury saloons, the BMW 7 Series has had a hard time in recent years. The bottom line is that the 7 Series doesn’t feel as special as the S-Class and the result is poor sales numbers and a growing brand problem for BMW. BMW’s flagship BMW 7 Series is in trouble.

BMW 7-Series Overview
The BMW 7 Series is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by the German automaker BMW since 1977. It is the successor to the BMW E3 “New Six” sedan and is now in its seventh generation. The 7 Series is BMW’s flagship car and is only available in a sedan bodystyle (including long wheelbase and limousine models). It traditionally introduces technologies and exterior design themes before other models in BMW’s lineup.
The current seventh-generation 7 Series was introduced in 2022 and is available with a choice of three powertrains: a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, a plug-in hybrid, or a twin-turbo V8. All models come standard with all-wheel drive. The 7 Series is known for its luxurious interior, spacious cabin, and advanced technology. Standard features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Available features include a 31-inch rear entertainment system, a rear-seat massage system, and a night vision system. The 7 Series is a top-of-the-line luxury sedan that offers a blend of performance, luxury, and technology. It is a popular choice for CEOs, celebrities, and other high-profile individuals. The 2024 BMW 7 Series starts at $96,400 in the United States. Prices vary depending on the powertrain and options selected.
