2015 China Automotive Sales by Automaker – The Best-Selling Automotive Manufacturers By Sales Volume
The best-selling automotive manufacturers in China for 2015 were the Volkswagen Group, General Motors, SAIC Motor, Hyundai Motor Group and Toyota Motor Corporation These five manufacturers accounted for over 50% of all new car sales in China in 2015.
Volkswagen Group is the world’s largest automaker and has been the best-selling automaker in China for many years. Volkswagen’s best-selling models in China include the Lavida, Sagitar, and Tiguan. General Motors is the second-largest automaker in the United States and has been selling vehicles in China since the late 1970s. General Motors’ best-selling models in China include the Buick Excelle, Chevrolet Sail, and Chevrolet Cruze. SAIC Motor is the largest Chinese automaker and has been growing rapidly in recent years. SAIC Motor’s best-selling models in China include the Roewe 350, MG 6, and Baojun 510.
