Lotus sales in Europe has been the brand we always wanted to do better but it just never gets there. Maybe things are turning around now that Lotus is owned by Geely.
The current lineup is pretty exciting. The Emira is a sports car that was launched in 2022. It is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. he Emira is the most affordable car in the Lotus lineup, starting at £59,995. The Evija is the most expensive car, starting at £1.7 million. The Type 132 and Type 133 are still in development and their prices have not yet been announced.
Most exciting in terms of volume though is the new lineup of electric Lotus SUVs. The new Eletre is a high-performance electric SUV built in China and set to go on sale in the U.S. sometime in 2023. While it is considerably heavier than any other Lotus model due to its large battery pack, the Eletre still delivers strong acceleration thanks to its electric motors, producing at least 603 horsepower. Lotus aims to compete with other electric SUV models including the Audi e-tron and BMW iX, but the Eletre bears more than a passing resemblance to the jaw-dropping Lamborghini Urus.

Lotus Europe sales figures have been increasing in recent years. In 2020, Lotus sold 576 cars in Europe. In 2021, Lotus sales in Europe rose to 1,710 cars. And in 2022, Lotus sales in Europe increased further to 2,000 cars. The Emira is a sports car that was launched in Europe in 2022. The Emira has been a major success for Lotus, and it has helped to boost the company’s sales in Europe.
Lotus is working on a number of electric vehicles, and the company plans to launch its first electric vehicle in 2026. This could help Lotus to attract new customers in Europe.
