Volkswagen ID.4 X
The ID.4 X is Volkswagen’s first MEB model produced in China, and it is made by the SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture. The similar ID.4 Crozz is produced by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. Prices range from 199.900 yuan (€25.900,- / US$ 30,500) to 272.900 yuan (€35.000,- / US$ 42,000). The Volkswagen ID.4 X is a sportier version of the Volkswagen ID.4 Cross that was first introduced in 2022. It has a more aggressive exterior design and a higher ground clearance than the ID.4 Cross.
The ID.4 X is powered by the same 77.4-kWh battery pack as the ID.4 Cross, but it produces 295 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. This gives it a slightly faster 0-60 mph time of 6.5 seconds. The ID.4 X is available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. It is equipped with the same driver-assistance features as the ID.4 Cross, plus an additional feature called Travel Assist. Travel Assist allows the ID.4 X to drive itself on highways up to 130 mph.
The ID.4 X is a great choice for buyers who are looking for a sporty all-electric SUV with a long range and a variety of features. It is not as affordable as some rivals, but it is a great car for people who are looking for a sustainable and practical vehicle that is also fun to drive.
