Seat Mii

The Seat Mii minicar was introduced late 2011 as a successor to the Seat Arosa, which had been discontinued in 2005. The SEAT Mii is a city car produced by the Spanish automaker SEAT. Introduced in 2011, the Mii is part of a trio of vehicles developed by the Volkswagen Group, alongside the Volkswagen up! and the Å koda Citigo. These three cars share the same platform and many components, but each carries its respective brand’s design cues and identity.

Seat Mii Overview

The Mii was developed as an urban-centric car, optimized for easy maneuverability, fuel efficiency, and compact dimensions suited for crowded European cities. While sharing its underpinnings with the Volkswagen up! and Å koda Citigo, the Mii incorporates SEAT’s design language, especially noticeable in the front grille and headlamp design. Inside, the Mii offers basic comfort and connectivity features suited to its segment, with some higher trims offering more advanced infotainment options.

In its conventional powertrain setup, the Mii was available with small, efficient petrol engines suitable for city driving. Later, an electric version called the “Mii Electric” was introduced. This fully-electric variant boasted zero emissions, making it a particularly attractive option for urban areas where stricter emission regulations are in place.

Introduced in 2019, the Mii Electric was SEAT’s first fully electric car. It featured a range suitable for urban and short-distance driving, capitalizing on the increasing shift towards electrification in European cities. The Mii Electric has become the sole version of the Mii on offer, highlighting SEAT’s (and the broader industry’s) push towards electrified and more sustainable mobility options.
