Ford Motor Company’s two large SUVs, the Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition, have come under a recall. 124,000 of these sport-utes could have a problem with the interior door handles that could eventually lead to doors opening in the event of a side-impact. CNN is reporting that the vehicles involved were built between March 3/2006-August 9/2007.
In addition to that, 2006-07 Ford E-Series vans as well as 2007 Navigators and Expeditions with 5.4L V8 engines could have a problem with a fuel rail crossover hose that could lead to a fire. Ford will begin contacting owners in the next few weeks. No injuries, fires, crashes have been connected to these problems.
