Geely Vision S1
The Vision S1 (Chinese name: Yuanjing S1) is a small hatchback/crossover version in the same style as the Geely Emgrand GS but a bit larger at 4.465/1.800/1.535mm with a wheelbase of 2.668mm. It features Geely’s new corporate grille and gets a crossover-look thanks to its black plastic wheel arches and an elevated ride height giving it more ground clearance than a regular hatchback. It’s designed by Peter Horbury, the British chief of design for Volvo and Geely. Power comes from a 1,5-liter 4-cylinder with 103hp mated to a 5MT or a turbocharged 1,4-liter 4-cylinder with 133hp mated to a CVT. Prices start at 69.900 yuan and run up to 102.900 yuan (€ 9.000,-/US$ 10,500 to € 13.250,-/US$ 15,550). Its main rivals are the Baojun 510 and Changan CS55.
