Citroën C-Elysee Sales Figures
The first Citroen Elysee was a compact sedan produced between 2003-2013 for the Chinese market by a joint venture between the Peugeot-Citroen Group and the Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng Motor. A face-lifted C-Elysee was introduced in April 2008, having the front and rear-end heavily reworked to bring the model in line with Citroen’s latest design. The second generation of the C-Elysee was available starting March 2013. The designers started from scratch in designing the new model and the result is both attractive and well balanced. The exterior immediately defines the car as a member of Citroen’s new design style. The front end features the brand’s signature, the Citroen logo that extends on the whole length of the upper air inlet and a large trapezoidal lower air vent that characterizes the latest models from the French automaker. The rest of the bodywork is harmonious and eye-catching. Inside, the design is optimized for space and comfort and there is a wide range of high-tech equipment to choose from. The C-Elysee is available in seven body colors, with different chrome details depending on the level of trim.
The C-Elysée is powered by a 1.6L four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 115 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. It is available with a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The C-Elysée is known for its fuel efficiency. It gets an EPA-estimated 34 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission, and 32 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway with the automatic transmission. The C-Elysée is also known for its affordability. It starts at €13,490 in France, which is one of the lowest starting prices in the subcompact sedan class.
The C-Elysée comes standard with a variety of features, including a six-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. Available features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a leather interior, and a sunroof. The C-Elysée is a good choice for those looking for a fuel-efficient and affordable subcompact sedan. It is also a good choice for first-time car buyers
