Buick Excelle Sales Data & Trends
In 2010, Buick replaced the venerable Excelle with the Excelle XT hatchback and Excelle GT sedan, but kept the old Excelle for sale as well and it stayed the brand’s best selling model until 2014 before the model was finally discontinued in 2016.
In June 2018, an all-new generation Excelle was introduced in China, a much more modern sedan. Power comes from a 1,3-liter 4-cylinder with 107 hp and 133Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT. A more modern 1-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder with 136hp is planned for later launch. Dimensions are 4.468/1.765/1.469mm with a wheelbase of 2.611mm. Prices range from about 83.900 yuan (€ 10.500,- / US$ 12,200) to 99.900 yuan (€ 12.500,- / US$ 14,500).
