The Baojun E300
The Baojun E300 is a four-seater electric hatchback that was first introduced in 2019. It is based on the Baojun E200, but it has a larger battery pack and a more powerful electric motor. The E300 is powered by a 38 kW and 150 Nm electric motor. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 mph in 12 seconds and has a top speed of 60 mph. The E300 has a range of 200 kilometers (124 miles) on a single charge. It can be charged from a standard 220-volt outlet in 5 hours. The E300 has a spacious interior that can seat up to 4 passengers.

The Baojun E300 is available in two versions: a 2-seat version with a 29kW electric motor and a 4-seat version with a 40kW motor. The latter is called E300 Plus. The E300 is available with high-tech features like voice commands, parking assist, 360° panoramic view, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, collision warning, electric handbrake. It also comes with Huawei HiCar which unlocks the following features:
- Wireless mobile phone pairing
- Virtual sharing of mobile phones and car resources
- App and service sharing on multiple devices
- Fatigue detection and video calling
The Baojun E300 primarily targets younger car buyers in Chinese cities and competes with compact EV segment models such as the Ora R1, Roewe clEVer, BYD e1, Changan Niou II EV and the Chery eQ1. However its range and rear seat comfort (in the E300 Plus) sets it apart from most of these rivals.
