Chevrolet Orlando Sales Figures

Chevrolet Orlando

Here you will find monthly and yearly sales figures for the Chevrolet Orlando. The Chevrolet Orlando is a minivan manufactured by the American automaker General Motors (GM). It was introduced in 2011 and was discontinued in 2018.

Chevrolet Orlando Overview

The Chevrolet Orlando is a compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) produced by Chevrolet, a division of General Motors. It was primarily aimed at the European and Asian markets, offering seating for up to seven passengers in a compact yet versatile package.

The Orlando was first unveiled as a concept at the Paris Motor Show in 2008, with the production version making its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Its design combined elements of an MPV with those of an SUV, aiming to offer the practicality of the former with the style and stance of the latter.

The Orlando was available with a choice of two four-cylinder engines: a 1.8L engine that produces 140 horsepower and 129 lb-ft of torque, and a 2.0L engine that produces 163 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque. It was available with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Orlando was known for its spacious interior and its versatility. It could seat up to 7 passengers and had a variety of cargo configurations. It was also known for its fuel efficiency. The 1.8L engine gets an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, and the 2.0L engine gets an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

The Orlando came standard with a variety of features, including a 6-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. Available features included a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Bose sound system, and a sunroof.

Chevrolet Orlando Sales Figures

While the Orlando was available in numerous global markets, including parts of Europe and Asia, it was notably not sold in the U.S., a decision reflecting Chevrolet’s assessment of market demands and the competitive landscape. Chevrolet ended the production of the Orlando after its first generation. The decision was influenced by several factors, including changing consumer preferences toward SUVs and crossovers and Chevrolet’s strategic market decisions, especially in Europe where the brand reduced its presence.

The Chevrolet Orlando received a generally positive reception in markets where it was sold, with praise for its versatility, value proposition, and design. However, like any vehicle, it also had its critics, especially concerning driving dynamics and interior material quality in some reviews.
