In 2019, Volvo announced that they sold over 100,000 units in the US alone. It was the first time that the company sold over 100,000 vehicles since 2007 when they sold 139,384 units.

Volvo Cars sales in the US have been growing steadily in recent years. In 2022, Volvo Cars sold over 70,000 vehicles in the US, making it the 14th-best-selling luxury automaker in the country. This represents an increase of 22.8% over Volvo Cars’ sales in 2021. Volvo Cars has a strong presence in the US, with over 300 dealerships nationwide. The company also has a manufacturing plant in Charleston, South Carolina, where it produces the Volvo S60 sedan and the Volvo XC90 SUV.

Volvo’s tenure in the US has been successful so far thanks to their award-winning luxury sedans, wagons and SUVs that they offer in the country. We’ll expect to see their sales grow more in the future as the company shifts its focus into producing electric vehicles. Volvo Cars’ growth in the US market is expected to continue in the coming years. The company is planning to launch a number of new electric vehicles in the coming years, including the Volvo EX90 SUV and the Volvo EX30 SUV.
