I know, bought mine less than 2 years ago and thought only the 4 cyl kias had motor problems. Turns out they all did for the years around 14-17. Idk how kia can legally rip people off and act like they knew nothing. But for some reason the newer ones don’t seem to have the issue. And to find even a used motor with 100k will cost between 6 to 7 thousand just for the motor alone. It’s nothing but a joke to them cause they’ll shamelessly charge all day long and take even more money cause they’re denying your warrantee either way. So my 15 will just have to be a lawn ornament for the next few years until it’s paid off and i can buy a car from someone that will actually stand behind their product like they claim they do.
