Chevrolet Aveo Sales Figures

Chevrolet Aveo

Here you will find monthly and yearly Canadian, U.S, European and Chinese market sales figures for the Chevrolet Aveo. The Chevrolet Aveo is a subcompact car produced by Chevrolet, a division of General Motors. It was first introduced in 2002 and has been sold in many markets under different brand names and model designations. The Aveo aimed to offer an affordable and efficient transportation solution for budget-conscious consumers.

Chevrolet Aveo Overview

The Aveo was produced in two main generations: The first generation (T200) from 2002 to 2011 and the second generation (T300) from 2011 onwards. While the first generation had a more basic and straightforward design, the second generation adopted a more modern and aggressive appearance, with Chevrolet’s dual-port grille and more sculpted body panels. The Aveo was available in different body styles, including a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback.

Depending on the market, the Aveo has also been sold under different names like Holden Barina in Australia, Chevrolet Lova in China, and Chevrolet Sonic in North America starting from the second generation. Over its production life, the Aveo received updates in terms of features and amenities. The second-generation models, in particular, were better equipped with modern infotainment systems, safety features, and creature comforts than their predecessors.

Chevrolet Aveo Sales Figures

The Chevrolet Aveo was generally appreciated for its affordability, fuel efficiency, and practicality. However, it often received critiques for its basic interior, ride quality, and overall driving experience, especially when compared to some competitors in the subcompact segment. The Aveo’s production came to an end as Chevrolet shifted its focus to other models and segments. In the U.S., the Aveo was replaced by the Chevrolet Sonic in 2011, which is essentially the second-generation Aveo rebranded for the North American market.
