The Ford Fiesta ended 2016 as the United Kingdom’s best-selling new vehicle, the eighth consecutive year of sales leadership for the most popular car at the UK’s most popular brand.
At the end of its sixth-generation model’s tenure, Fiesta sales slid 10%, year-over-year, to 120,525 units. But that was still 56% more sales than the second-ranked Vauxhall Corsa, a direct Fiesta rival, managed to produce.
