Volkswagen Canada delivered a red Golf GTI to our driveway during the last holiday season. It’s been more than four months, but rarely has a day gone by that I didn’t think that the 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI, the Mk7 GTI, is one of the planet’s best all-around cars.
Historical Monthly & Yearly Volkswagen Golf GTI Sales Figures
You can read that review of the GTI here, but the video below is from Alex Dykes of Alex On Autos fame. You won’t find a more thorough expert review of the GTI on YouTube.
There is one key difference. Alex On Autos’ review is of a 2-door model (referred to as a 3-door in Canada); we reviewed a GTI with an extra pair of doors. Both his car and mine used manual shifters.
The Orlando is a good vehicle. It suffered the same problem that many Chev/Buick dealers have. Too many vehicles on the shelf and GM wants to be all things to all people. When a dealer put an Orlando in the showroom it sold but most dealers wouldn't do that. Go to a dealer and most don't have an Impala now in the showroom and I'm beginning to think this cars days are numbered.
The best part is the Vans with Truck Chassis like Chevy Express, Ford E-Series, RAM Cargo Van is going down while those Vans with Unibody frame like Ford Transit, RAM Promaster is increasing. This will reduce the fuel consumption greatly.
Looks like more people are drawn to CUVs which are equally functional and comes with wider range. Phase out of Dodge Caravan will make a big difference in Van sales.
Most Vans remain the same with same design, same V6 engine. Perhaps an introduction of Hybrids, Plugins will boost this segment.
I have an Orlando for second year and no any problem happened.God car
