2014 Best Selling Minivans In Canada (All Models Ranked)
64% of the minivans and an even more impressive 72% of the “full-size” minivans sold in Canada in 2014 were Windsor, Ontario-assembled Dodge Grand Caravans and Chrysler Town & Countrys. 85% of the FCA-built twins sold in Canada were Grand Caravans.
Minivan sales improved in Canada in 2014, but the category as a whole lost market share. (The oxymoronically-named full-size minivan subset grew at a slightly faster rate than the overall industry, thus increasing market share.) 5.1% of the new vehicles sold in Canada in calendar year 2014 were minivans and small MPVs, down from 5.2% in 2013. The smaller trio of products certainly suffered as Chevrolet Orlando volume tumbled 43% and sales of the still-fresh second-generation Kia Rondo surprisingly slid 12%.
