Africa Passenger Car Sales for 2014

Economic development, increasing urbanization, and a growing middle class contributed to the rise in car sales across the continent. Egypt claimed back it’s second place in 2014 which Algeria had claimed in 2013 with strong 24% growth to 274k sales units. The rest of Africa performed well in 2014, with 70% of countries seeing new car market growth.
