From the instant Mercedes-Benz put the GLK350 4Matic on sale in the United States the baby Benz SUV has sold at a significantly greater rate than any of its direct competitors.
During the month of December, Mercedes was selling more than 4.5 GLKs every time BMW sold one X3. Sure, the X3 isn’t a new model any longer, but it’s striking dropoff in sales is striking in light of new small luxury tall wagons from Volvo, Audi, and Mercedes entering the market earlier this year.
