2014 U.S. Vehicle Sales Rankings – Every Vehicle Ranked By Sales Volume
Once again, Americans made the Ford F-Series the country’s best-selling vehicle line in 2014. Not since 1981 has anything other than the F-Series been America’s best-selling vehicle line, and not since 2009 have GM’s full-size truck twins – the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra – combined to outsell the F-Series.
America’s best-selling car in 2014 was the fourth-ranked Toyota Camry. The Honda CR-V, America’s eighth-best-selling vehicle, led all SUVs and crossovers. Chrysler Group/FCA grabbed the top two minivan spots with the 36th-ranked Chrysler Town & Country and the 38th-ranked Dodge Grand Caravan. BMW’s 3-Series (4-Series inclusive), ranked 32nd, led all premium brand cars; the Lexus RX, ranked 46th, led all premium brand utility vehicles.
