Lincoln MKT
The Lincoln MKT was a luxury crossover SUV produced by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company. Introduced in 2009 and produced until 2019, the MKT was known for its distinct design and focus on comfort and luxury.
Lincoln MKT Overview
The Lincoln MKT was a full-size luxury crossover SUV that was manufactured and marketed by Lincoln from 2010 to 2019. It was based on the Ford Flex and was intended to be a more luxurious and refined alternative to the Flex. The MKT was available in three trim levels: Premiere, Select, and Reserve. The Premiere trim came standard with a 3.7L V6 engine, while the Select and Reserve trims came standard with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine. All engines were mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The MKT was praised for its luxurious interior, comfortable ride, and spacious cargo area. However, it was criticized for its high price tag, which started at $42,995. The MKT was discontinued after the 2019 model year due to slow sales. It was replaced by the Lincoln Aviator, which is a larger and more luxurious SUV.
