First Generation (1999–2007)

The first generation Silverado was introduced in 1998 as a replacement for the Chevrolet C/K series. It was available in two cab configurations: extended cab and crew cab. It was available in four trim levels: Work Truck, LS, LT, and Z71. It was available in various cab and bed sizes and offered a broad selection of engines and drivetrains. Third Generation (2014–2019)

The third generation Silverado was introduced in 2014 as a major update of the second generation truck. It is available in three cab configurations: regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab. It is available in six trim levels: Work Truck, Custom, LT, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. Built on a more refined platform, improving ride quality and handling. Infotainment system upgrades and driver assistance technologies. We also saw the introduction of engines with cylinder deactivation for improved fuel economy. Variant-wise, we got the new High Country trim, offering luxurious features.

Fourth Generation (2019–Present)

A complete overhaul with bolder styling, improved aerodynamics, and weight reduction. Introduction of new turbocharged four-cylinder engines, diesel options, and continued V8 offerings. Special off-road-focused version with factory lift a nd unique styling. Finally we get state-of-the-art infotainment system, connectivity options, and advanced safety features.
