BMW will be replacing the Z4 with a new roadster, possibly called the Z5 and it can’t come soon enough. While the Z4’s the base 2.0-liter turbo-four is a solid engine, the Z4 has ended up in last place in almost every comparison test in the last few years due to its disconnected chassis and unrefined ride. A rethink is needed.
